Lovely Lush Love Lettuce Face Mask (wow! alliteration at its best!)

So I came across a new lush product I've yet to use to thought if use it as a feel good today, and wow I FEEL GREAT after using it!
I give you the Love Lettuce Fresh Face Mask!

This is yet another product my sister has bought home for me to try- I absolutely love it. As soon as you open the tub you get a gorgeous fresh and natural smell, not so much a lettuce smell... as they don't particularity have a sent (awh poor lettuces!), but I could already feel my pours opening just after taking off the lid!! It had a paste-y texture but is very soft, the majority of it is smooth apart from the small grounded almond shells which exfoliate as you apply (see bottom picture). Talking of ingredients it also includes Honey which again adds to the naturalness of the product and the fresh aroma you get from it.
After applying you leave the face mask on for around ten minutes without letting it dry completely and then rinse it off, dab you face with a towel and moisturize. Now some people prefer to rinse with hot water and others with cold, but for me it all depends on the face mask and for this one I always go for cold water, however much it wakes you up in the morning! Because it is so fresh and after being kept in the fridge (remember this!), I feel that hot water would ruin the relaxing cool vibe.
All in all a wonderful face mask and I would definitely recommend you buy this and try it out especially now that summer is creeping up on us!

That's all for now folks, see you next post :)

I WANT TO BLOG MORE/ GOLDEN EGG LUSH REVIEW

I've stumbled back onto my blog after all these months! I realised how much I actually enjoyed doing the first two blogs previously... many moons ago... so thought i'd give it another pop!
Since October I've been focusing on my first year of A level and doing lots more performing acts stuff (which I hope to somehow bring into these blogs too- theatre reviews, videos and pictures etc)! My exams happening at the moment so it's revision revision revision at the moment however I think this blog will be a nice escape from it when I can find the time! I only have one left now anyway! Hooray! It's half term at the moment so I've been at home a lot doing work and occasionally popping out for shopping or meeting friends. Then after my exams I start my second year of A Levels. However work won't be as serious as it is at the moment so I will have a lot more time for things like this and maybe even some covers on Youtube (fingers crossed I don't wuss out!). Things I plan on putting on here is just the odd beauty review, maybe some hauls and any other opinions I have or exciting things that happen to me.
In this post I'll be writing a little review of an Easter product from the beauty shop Lush which I have been wanting to try since the new seasonal stuff came out. That product is the Golden Egg! My sister works at one of the biggest Lush stores in the UK where she goes to uni so she gets a 50% ( YES 50%!) discount, which is amazing for me as it means I get a lot of Lush related presents now and then. For example for Christmas I got the £100 Lush  WOW! box which she only paid £50 for... BARGAIN! Anyway she came back for the Easter weekend and presented me with this sparkling beauty...

Mine was slightly broken after the long journey my sister took it on to get it to me so if you were to buy this in the shop or online it would probably look much nicer than this.

So first off- its a bath bomb so meant only using it once. Now I usually save things like this... But instead of waiting for the right occasion when I'm incredibly tired or ill to make me feel better... I couldn't wait and used it the night after I was given it. Once it's been dropped into a hot bath immediately all the little bits of glitter come off and spread around the bath. It makes you feel like you're bathing in luxury! Unlike other products I've used in the past, the glitter doesn't cling to you after you've got out of the bath too. So you don't look like a disco-ball. (Sorry!)

Once the glitter has all vanished from the eggs outside the actual bath bomb begins to fizz and slowly turns the bath into a misty yellow colour. By the time the whole bomb has dissolved the water is a glorious bright yellow. This colour fits in with the season so I can see why they've done this as it works really well! AND makes bath time a bit jollier with the bright colour and sparkles!
I really love this product and am definitely going out to buy another before the new season stuff comes out! I really recommend you go out and buy one before they're gone. It's like spring in an egg (new name lush?).

That's all from me in this post! Happy Easter, enjoy it and eat lots of chocolate! I know I will!
See you next post... which I WILL do! :)

A weekly post?

Here goes blog post nĂºmero dos...Almost a whole month after my first one! I kept looking at the little app on my phone thinking 'I need to write another blog post' but each time my mind has just wondered. So I'm at the bus stop right now, before going into sixth form, writing away!
Not a lot has happened since now and my last post really, as you can tell I have a REALLY exciting life. I'll fill you in on the odd bits and bobs that has happened though! On with the show...
I've been at sixth form/college doing my A levels for about a month and a half now, and is going okkk. It's not exactly the best thing ever, it's still work. I would much rather be at a dance/musical theatre college but you know, everything can't go your way. I can put up with it for two years! The subjects are good though! I've had lots of test recently as we've been getting out WAGs (working at grades). As well as work we're doing a few drama things outside of lesson too which is exciting! The sixth form panto which is Snow White and is in December. We're also doing an anti-bulling piece to do after half term in assembly for the younger years.
Speaking of half term, I literally have today and tomorrow left and school and then I get a week off (HORRAY) which will mostly be taken up by multiple essays and pieces of homework I've been set... However I am going to London for two days to see a few shows so it will be nice to get away!
Something you may or may not find exciting is that I got a new ukulele!! I have a YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/capricelanee) and always wanted to post some singy videos so I've going to learn a few more on my uke and my guitar so hopefully I will post some very soon! So go and subscribe! :)

Something I'm thinking of starting is some haul and favourite blogs. I don't think I'm very mastered in the make up side of things, but I DO go shopping a lot... So starting probably next week in the half term, I'm going to post an October Favourite and possibly a haul of things I buy in London (if I do buy anything that is!). Hopefully by doing this it will get me into blogging more and have a bit more of a routine to it!
That's it's for today! To finish here's a cute picture of me and my friend Steph at dance trying to be artistic...

MY FIRST POST!

Hello to those who are possibly reading this...

How are you?....Oooo, I'm glad.... Yeah.
Anyway on with the post!
WAASSSSSUPPPPPPPPPPP!
I'm Caprice and I just turned 17. I've been reading blogs and watching Youtubers for a long time now so i thought it was the right opportunity to start one of these bad boys up for myself! The things that will most likely be on here will be weekly posts about.. my week! As i'm just starting out, I don't exactly have lots of exciting things to say, but hopefully overtime I will!
As it's a Sunday and the end of the week, today is a perfect day to start with my first post about the past two weeks... ENJOY!
Firstly, it was my 17th birthday two weeks ago today! I had a fabulous day with my friends, it couldn't have been better! Thank you to everyone who got me a gifts too, I love them all SO much! One reason it was so amazing was the fact my friends from school who i hadn't seen since prom were there, along with my amazing dance friends, so I was with all my best friends! Love you all!

My gorgeous cake made my Becky and Dan, thankyou so much!

My amazing friends! From the top left picture- Myself, Jazz, Steph, Sophie, Alex, Em, Rach, Beth, Dan, Becky and myself again.

As my family and friends would tell you... I love musicals. I want to train to become a West End Musical Theatre performer someday so I go down to London a lot to see musicals.. naturally! And I particularly love Wicked... For the past two summers I have been going to West End Stage Summer School in London which is AMAZING (you can check it out here) and you get the opportunity to perform on a West End Stage. I have met so friends there that I will keep for life and  I meet up with a few ones on a regular basic to see shows with! One friend in particular Caitlin, who loves Wicked as much as I do, got these for me for my birthday... I think they're my favourite present, I got a Pandora and a camera but these STILL beat them!

My 'Wicked' socks! Thankyou SO much Caitlin! xoxox

Other things I've been doing this week consist of work and work and lots more work! More or less 4 weeks ago I started sixth form so the work load as been really full on, I'm taking Psychology, Dance, Eng Lit and Drama!
That's all for this week! I would have written more but I didn't take a lot of photos as I didn't actually think I'd be doing this right now!
Cheerio!
